About The Car Wash

Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.

Memphis is in Tennessee, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Memphis is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Tennessee's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Car looks ok. Used the automatic and it sounded like it was beating the hell out of my car. No warning that the " rinse " is a 60 second drive under at your own pace spray at the end 🙄 guy trying to wash car for me 🙄 obviously not employee wash button says $5...card company says $10...so is that a hold or do they require charge double?

Not really to to busy if you go at the right time. Never personally had any issues but had people ask me why I would go there alone. I go there quite often and actually I've had more people offer to help me than have ever made me feel nervous. Crime is everywhere. It can happen anywhere. It doesn't take much common sense to be wise about certain situations. Late at night, no i wouldn't stop. But also i wouldn't stop at any car wash late bc I'm a female alone. Again, common sense. Crime is everywhere. Just don't put yourself in positions that will likely end up in a bad situation. All in all, I'm perfectly good with this place, i don't think it's in a bad area and everyone has always been friendly with me. And yes more often than not I've been the only "white girl" there. But guess what, still had more people offer to help, than I've ever had make me nervous. People are just judgemental as hell.

🚨🚨🚨I attempted to use the soft touch automatic wash because I’m injured and can’t manually hand wash my car and it didn’t work. I inserted my card and it told me to wait for the green light, which never came on. My account was still charged for the service that I wasn’t able to use. There’s no phone number or email posted anywhere on the premises to contact the owner for a credit or a refund. The owner should post contact info and touch base with me to rectify this situation.

Not bad for the One dollar start up, gets about 3 mins. Brush could work a little better but for a quick scrub and spray off, Works fine for me.
